CD-Rs are premanufactured CD media that can be recorded onto with data, video, or audio. All CD-Rs are built to the same standards. There are standards for thickness of the disc, density of the reflective (shiny) layer, and the quality of the dye material.
Digital Press only uses highest quality Taiyo Yuden CD-Rs that meet the standards, so they work well in all the recorders and readers our customers use. Cheaper brands like the brands available in big box companies are often made without regard for the standards causing inconsistent burning and lots of copy errors. The process of burning data onto CD-Rs is called Duplication.

All CD-R duplication is done on the highest audio-quality media available in:
- full size (holds up to 700mb of data or 74 minutes of audio)
- mini round (hold up to 180 mb)
- barrel shaped business card (holds up to 50 mb)
- credit card shaped (holds 47mb)
