A CD-ROM (compact disk) read-only memory is a type of optical storage media that allows data to be written to it only once. CD-ROMs consist of a thin, high-strength plastic disk which has a special coating on one surface. This surface contains a very thin spiral track that runs from its center almost to the outer edge.
Digital data is recorded in this track in the form of a succession of microscopic pits. This recording is done at our partner factory using an injection molded stamping process. The minimum quantity that can be ordered is 1,000. The price for CD-ROMs is generally much less per unit than that of CD-Rs. The process of manufacturing CD-ROMS is call Replication.
The turn for CD-ROMs is 2-3 weeks, with shorter turns available with a rush fee.
